SQA Automation

Job Description: Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of web, mobile, and API-based applications. Work closely with development and product teams to identify test requirements, execute automated and manual test cases, and support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Rest Assured, Postman, or similar frameworks.
• Build and enhance API automation testing frameworks to validate backend services, integrations, and data integrity.
• Perform functional, regression, and stress/load testing to ensure application stability and performance under various conditions.
• Execute manual test cases where automation coverage is not feasible, ensuring comprehensive test coverage across releases.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., DevOps, Jira, ClickUp), and collaborate with developers for timely resolution.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support faster and more reliable releases.
• Conduct root cause analysis on critical issues and contribute to defect prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, business analysts) to understand requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
• Prepare test plans, test strategies, and detailed test documentation for ongoing and upcoming projects.

• Required Skills:
• Strong knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, Rest Assured, K6, Postman, Swagger).
• Experience with programming/scripting languages (Java, JavaScript, Python – as applicable).
• Solid understanding of API testing, stress/load testing, and CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
